Project Engineering

Apex Engineering can furnish an integrated team of professionals for civil, structural, piping, mechanical, instrumentation /controls and electrical engineering design. This project team can produce the working documents necessary for procurement, fabrication and installation of all materials required to construct a plant ready for operation.

Specialty Services

FARO 3D Scanning

Apex Engineering uses one of the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art 3D color scanners on the market today. The 3D scan data (point cloud) can easily be imported into all commonly used software solutions for architecture, civil engineering, construction, industrial manufacturing, and land surveying. Distance dimensions, area and volume calculations, analysis and inspection tasks, and documentation can thus be carried out quickly, precisely, and reliably.

 

Process Engineering

Apex Engineering’s process design team offers the benefit of many years of experience in industrial applications. Our process engineers have performed a wide range of studies, from process optimization of existing units to design of new process facilities.

Services include:

  • Preliminary process design including feasibility and economic studies

  • Flow sheet development including PFD’s, P&ID’s, and UFD’s

  • Mass and energy balances

  • Detailed process design and equipment specifications

  • Pipe sizing and relief requirements
